Since 2017 Brad Evans has been the "Histories of Violence" section editor for the Los Angeles Review of Books. This monthly series of conversations aims to rethink the problem of violence in a conversational way by bringing together the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Guests have featured Oliver Stone, Elaine Scarry, Gottfried Helnwein, Fatima Bhutto, Simon Critchley, and John Akomfrah, amongst many others. For full series click Here

Throughout 2015-17 Brad Evans led a series on violence for the New York Times. Featured in its philosophy column, The Stone, Brad engaged a series of critical scholars to address the many complex ways violence appears.
